Hello Campania is a project about heritage languages in Campania region (Italy). Heritage languages are the languages spoken by 1st and 2nd generation migrants. The project aims to study language choices and multilingual language practices of heritage speakers. We are collecting data with speakers from Ukraine, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Bangladesh. The results of this project will support policies devoted to immigrant integration, as the project promotes multilingualism and heritage languages maintenance by raising awareness in the migrant communities. The project is carried out by two reseach units: University of Naples L'Orientale and University of Naples Federico II.
