The term resilience has been variously used to describe the capacity for successful adaptation to a changing environment and the character of hardiness and invulnerability (Ramanaiah, Sharpe, & Byravan, 1999). More recently, resilience has been conceptualized as a dynamic process involving an interaction between both risk and protective processes, internal and external to the individual (Rutter, 1999). This study takes as its starting point the studies have investigated the relation between personal resources and resilience (e.i.: Self efficacy : Allen (1998), Self esteem: Blum (1998). It intends to analyze the relation between some aspects of self-perception and resilience during adolescence. The main aim is to explore which specific self-perception domains are connected to resilience in different age levels. Our hypothesis is the global self worth is a predictor of resilience during adolescence.

Abstract
Our hypothesis is the global self worth is a predictor of resilience during adolescence.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
