About 1000 fragments of agonistic catalogues have been found in one of the building sites of the new Naples metro. The excavations have unearthed a temple dating from the I century A.D. A portico lies on the right side of the temple and its inside wall is totally covered with inscribed marble slabs. The inscriptions contain several lists of the winners at the Italikà Rhomaia Sebastà Isolympia. The games were held every four years in the ancient Neapolis in honour of the emperor Augustus till the III century A.D.
