The invention relates to release systems based on biodhesive polymers, their manufacturing process and to their uses in the medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, cosmeceutical and nutraceutical fields. In particular, these release systems are provided for local application onto skin and mucosal lesions, in particular for the treatment of pathologies of the buccal mucosa.

Abstract
