We here describe a novel fluorescently-labelled Ru(III)-complex, prepared and tested in several cell systems aiming at an in-depth comprehension of the in vivo mechanism of action of nucleolipid-based Ru(III)-complexes we have syntheiszed as potential anticancer drugs.
