The antique city of Pompeii, one of the most visited sites of our collective memory Heritage, is still largely inaccessible for persons with motor or perceptive disabilities, permanent or temporary. Accessing, visiting, experiencing the places of the archeological site of conditions of comfort, safety and autonomy can be made possible through small, limited interventions, part of an overall strategy for improving the site accessibility that envisages Pompeii as a city-system. The research published in this book outlines a possible methodology for an extended fruition of Pompeii, tackling the theme with an interdisciplinary approach and setting as priorities the conservation instances of an extraordinary and fragile heritage
