In my speech I discuss some lines of the philosophy of history in the dialogue between Arendt and Jaspers. I discuss the following themes which allow us to recognize a small philosophy of history in Arendt and Jaspers. The themes are: historical judgment, independent thought, universal history, and the politics of citizenship.
