Introduction: The use of online can positively affect the social inclusion of migrant women due to the social influence and support that the digital network provides and the ease of access and information about services for them. Objective: to investigate the relationship between social inclusion and the use of online tools in migrant women experiences and perspectives. Method and tools: 15 focused interviews were conducted with migrant women and they were analysed through the qualitative methodology of Grounded theory. Results: Resources of the online. Online as tool of 1) information about services; 2) communication with compatriots (both in the country of origin and host) ; 3) cross-cultural exchange 4) a homeostatic tool of dual identity. Risk of the online: increase of alienation. Conclusions: The use of the Internet is a resource for migrant women to keep in touch with each other, group together, and learn about services for them. We hypothesize that the online can prove to be a great resource because of the democratic nature of the internet, which is able to overcome the colonial barriers that often define relationships between natives and nonnatives and hinder migrant women's social inclusion processes. We suggest that such digital resources and trainings be implemented within the social inclusion programs that migration services deal with, to reduce the risk of further marginalization due to digital illiteracy that affects some types of migrant women.
