Every person has the right to choose a spouse and start a family, and every man and woman has the freedom to marry based on their intellectual, cultural, and religious preferences. Although it is acknowledged that marriage is a universal cultural phenomenon, different cultures, religions, and historical periods have different definitions of marriage. From the point of view of Islam, the nature of marriage is a con- tract with special conditions. It is very desirable, and from the point of view of Islamic jurisprudence, it is a mustahab act, and in some cases, it is considered obligatory. Islam has given great importance to marriage.
