This work addresses the strategic management of Supply Chains (SCs) by proposing a negotiation model between a manufacturer and a retailer to optimize SC coordination under information asymmetry. Focusing on reshoring as a key strategic decision, the model explores how trade-offs in operational constraints, cost variations, and lead times influence SC performance. By integrating reshoring considerations into the coordination framework, it offers a tool to support strategic decisions while enhancing SC collaboration. The study underscores the role of dynamic contracts in mitigating asymmetry and improving SC efficiency in the current dynamic and competitive manufacturing environment.

Abstract
This work addresses the strategic management of Supply Chains (SCs) by proposing a negotiation model between a manufacturer and a retailer to optimize SC coordination under information asymmetry. Focusing on reshoring as a key strategic decision, the model explores how trade-offs in operational constraints, cost variations, and lead times influence SC performance. By integrating reshoring considerations into the coordination framework, it offers a tool to support strategic decisions while enhancing SC collaboration. The study underscores the role of dynamic contracts in mitigating asymmetry and improving SC efficiency in the current dynamic and competitive manufacturing environment.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
