This study presents a real-time Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) approach for bridges, leveraging laser-based deflection measurements to continuously assess structural integrity. Applied to a viaduct in Italy this system integrates traffic data, ensuring long-term, non-intrusive measurements that reflect the bridge's behavior under various conditions. The successful implementation of this laser-based monitoring method demonstrates its potential to enhance infrastructure maintenance strategies, providing a reliable and practical tool for damage detection and improved asset management.
