The application of an intelligent computation approach to knowledge from cast measurements in order to support the clinical decision making on orthodontic extractions is illustrated in this work. Unsupervised neural networks trained using cephalometric and orthodontic cast measurements data can provide a valuable support in the extraction therapeutical option in orthodontics.
