Referring to Naples area, four scenarios of integrated solid waste management, corresponding to different objectives of material recovery from source separated collection, are investigated. Adopting a decisional model, solved by mean of an optimisation algorithm, it is derived the repartition of solid waste components between foreseen plants. Solid waste flows coming from each plant, and materials to be recovered by source separated collection have been defined and compared for the assumed cases, in order to suggest technical and economical best solution of waste management in Naples area, compatible with choices planned by regional programme.

Abstract
Referring to Naples area, four scenarios of integrated solid waste management, corresponding to different objectives of material recovery from source separated collection, are investigated. Adopting a decisional model, solved by mean of an optimisation algorithm, it is derived the repartition of solid waste components between foreseen plants. Solid waste flows coming from each plant, and materials to be recovered by source separated collection have been defined and compared for the assumed cases, in order to suggest technical and economical best solution of waste management in Naples area, compatible with choices planned by regional programme.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
