Abstract
A model to determine the heterogeneity structure of soils by using water content measurements during a field scale drainage flow is developed. The study is based on a local analytical solution obtained assuming gravity driven flow. A stochastic model that regards the hydraulic parameters as stationary Random Space Functions (RSFs) is derived by employing the methodology of Dagan and Bresler (1979). Owing to the randomness of the hydraulic parameters, even the water content will be a RSF, and we show in particular how its mean value is affected by the heterogeneity of the log-saturated conductivity Y=ln(Ks).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
