A logistics model for the management of the loss of profit by business interruption risk

Throughout the development of an industrial, commercial productive activity, several events can occurr such as fires, floods or machines stops, all of them determine an unexpected operational cut off for such activities, that offen are insured with special and expencive policies. A solution for the reduction of the insurance premium has been worked out, that is the possibility of a partial tranfer of the risk to a third party, through the introduction of a fair immunity translated in days of inactivity, beneath which the risk is managed by the company and over which the it is transferred to a third party.
