The workgroup that, in the Centro Regionale di Competenze Trasporti (CRdCT) focused on relationships between territory and transports (WP6), made several methodological contributions looking for to integrate the contributions of different sectors (economics, law, statistics, informatics, engineering, …), Such disciplines usually give a additive rather than systematic contribution. There are not only methodological contributions but also the ability to integrate different skills. This can come from a long experience of common work and interests. This second aspect, together to the clear perception that the regional market don’t give such integrated services, induce to think that TEST can be the right place for a quality offer of a wide mix of services to support the management of transportation services, organized in a specific laboratory. Such laboratory could be called Laboratory of Statistics and Informatics Analysis for Transportation System (L.S.I.A.T.S.). The laboratory, aggregation of wide multidisciplinary skills, would be a permanent observatory on the territory, in order to know the mobility and the aspects that characterise it, such as: the demand and supply of infrastructures and transportation services; the public-private participation and the evaluation of Customer Satisaction (CS). The observatory would be a useful decision support instrument that permits to make evaluations of intervention policy, monitoring of transport system and interventions to improve the quality of local public service. Last aim and product of the laboratory could be a complete and update database about the transports, that the interested subjects (public authority, university, company, citizen associations, ) can use for traffic analysis, planning/priority of interventions, evaluation of the impacts of adopted policies.

Abstract
Last aim and product of the laboratory could be a complete and update database about the transports, that the interested subjects (public authority, university, company, citizen associations, ) can use for traffic analysis, planning/priority of interventions, evaluation of the impacts of adopted policies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
