The concept of natural ecosystem arose in the last century, defined as a biological community of interacting organisms within their physical environment. Over the last decade this was translated into the economic model of the Business Ecosystem: the business network of makers of products or services, suppliers, buyers and socio-economic environment, including the institutional and regulatory framework. This paper aims to study the eclipse ecosystem as the best existing model for multiple corporations to create innovation networks, enabling cooperation on the development of product- ready open source software and to discuss about the Eclipse model of governance, how it is re-creating a craft studio model of governance where everyone learns from each other, in the way depicted by Pete McBreen in his “Software Craftsmanship” [1], but adding features similar to the ones of the renaissance craftsman studio that fostered innovation. We aim to study the model in the eclipse italian community ecosystem and their e-governance organization, experimenting Web2.0 tools to increase and generate new collaboration.

Abstract
We aim to study the model in the eclipse italian community ecosystem and their e-governance organization, experimenting Web2.0 tools to increase and generate new collaboration.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
