In this paper, the rehabilitation and reactivation of the continuous monitoring system of “Our Lady of Tears Shrine” in Siracusa (Italy) is examined. The structure has been just included in the Italian network of structures perma-nently monitored by the Italian Department of Civil Protection within the Seismic Observatory of Structures (OSS).
