The paper show all research and teaching activities related to light aircraft design at University of Naples. The paper presents recent research activities focused on the design of a light twin-engine aircraft and on the design of a STOL ultralight aircraft. It is outlined how research and educational aspects are both relevant and are strictly linked together.
