In the present paper we study the problems on modelling of monitoring of viscoelastic structures and media with voids by use of piezoelectric transducers. We give finite element systems of equations for piezoelectric, viscoelastic structures and media with voids, as well as complete system of equations for the full structure made of elastic, viscoelastic and piezoelectric components including initial porosity. A particular case of harmonic oscillations is especially studied. We give results of test calculations on acoustic control of mechanical parameters and deflected mode of viscoelastic media and media with voids by use of piezoelectric actuators and sensors.
