The paper is a description of some experiences matured from ADAG research group on flight tests and flight simulation of light and ultralight aircraft. The paper shows some relevant data of aircraft design activities performed through the application of flight tests and flight simulation. In example the design of the winglet for P2006T twin-engine aircraft and relative flight tests are shown.
