Fission dynamics in systems of intermediate fissility is under study with the 8πLP apparatus at the Laboratori Nazionali di Legnaro (Italy). Here we present some preliminary results for the composite system 132Ce at Ex=122 MeV, produced in the reaction 32S + 100Mo at Elab=200 MeV. Measured charged particle multiplicities in the evaporation residue and fission channels, and cross sections of the two channels have been compared to the predictions of a dynamical model based on three dimensional Langevin equations. The sizeable set of measured observables allowed to put severe constraints to the model. A good overall agreement is obtained assuming one body dissipation, which implies a fission delay in the range 15 – 25 ×10−21 s

Abstract
A good overall agreement is obtained assuming one body dissipation, which implies a fission delay in the range 15 – 25 ×10−21 sI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
