Abstract

In this work the hydration behaviour of two CSA cements, prepared by addition of FGD gypsum to clinkers obtained from raw mixes basically containing limestone, bauxite, pulverized coal fly ash, FBC bottom and/or fly ash, was investigated using differential thermal-thermogravimetric analysis (DTA-TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and mercury porosimetry as main characterization techniques.
