Magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) enhanced microwave imaging (MWI) has been recently proposed as an effective technique for breast cancer monitoring. In this communication, we discuss some issues related to the actual feasibility of a device for MNP enhanced MWI, such as the required dynamic range and the system's optimization in terms of antennas' typology and positioning.

Abstract
Magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) enhanced microwave imaging (MWI) has been recently proposed as an effective technique for breast cancer monitoring. In this communication, we discuss some issues related to the actual feasibility of a device for MNP enhanced MWI, such as the required dynamic range and the system's optimization in terms of antennas' typology and positioning.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
