The study of the Temple of Apollo on the Acropolis of Cuma has allowed us to address the main issues related to the definition of reconstructive hypotheses scientifically correct and to test some interactive systems for the representation of these hypotheses. In this paper we will describe a methodological path from the data acquisition to formulation of reliable hypotheses to decide "what" and "how" we can virtually rebuild. Another key objective of the research is to test the potential of interactive representation techniques such as immersive interactive images, 3D PDF, and some of Augmented Reality systems.

Abstract
The study of the Temple of Apollo on the Acropolis of Cuma has allowed us to address the main issues related to the definition of reconstructive hypotheses scientifically correct and to test some interactive systems for the representation of these hypotheses. In this paper we will describe a methodological path from the data acquisition to formulation of reliable hypotheses to decide "what" and "how" we can virtually rebuild. Another key objective of the research is to test the potential of interactive representation techniques such as immersive interactive images, 3D PDF, and some of Augmented Reality systems.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
