Abstract

Seeds and sprouts of Phaseolus vulgaris L. were exposed to 2.45 GHz microwave field for 24 h at 40 mW/g SAR level in order to assess eventual effects of the electromagnetic fields (EMF) on seedling growth. No significant differences in early growth were observed in seedlings developed from seeds and sprouts exposed to EMF compared to their respective controls.
