This paper centres on the fundamental demand and concerns of managing people and their behaviours in innovative contexts. In line with this, we propose a systematic literature review of seminal works in Diversity Management, which can be grouped in accordance with the traditional classification proposed by Lorbiecki and Jack (2000) into four non-overlapping turns (i.e Demographic, Economic, Political, Critical). The aim of this investigation is to present readers with a number of observations on how Diversity Management has been construed in its own literature and then to leave the floor open to stimulate further discussion. As will be shown, the analysis in the nature of Diversity Management will thus highlight a new turn, mediated by the role of mental cages (and anxiety) in organizations.

Abstract
This paper centres on the fundamental demand and concerns of managing people and their behaviours in innovative contexts. In line with this, we propose a systematic literature review of seminal works in Diversity Management, which can be grouped in accordance with the traditional classification proposed by Lorbiecki and Jack (2000) into four non-overlapping turns (i.e Demographic, Economic, Political, Critical). The aim of this investigation is to present readers with a number of observations on how Diversity Management has been construed in its own literature and then to leave the floor open to stimulate further discussion. As will be shown, the analysis in the nature of Diversity Management will thus highlight a new turn, mediated by the role of mental cages (and anxiety) in organizations.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
