This is a review of the book Architects of the euro-intellectuals in the making of European monetary union edited by Kenneth Dyson and Ivo Maes. After presenting the main structure of the book, I argue that it usefully clarifies the logic of the European Unification project. I conclude by presenting some points that would benefit from further analysis
