This paper deals with the implementation on FPGA of a new compensation method of the nonlinearities for grid-connected Voltage Source Inverters (VSIs). In steady state conditions, the compensation technique evaluates the distortion voltage error on the basis of the error between reference and actual output currents, within a fundamental period. This voltage error is, hence, used to correct the reference voltage space vector at the following fundamental periods.

Abstract

This paper deals with the implementation on FPGA of a new compensation method of the nonlinearities for grid-connected Voltage Source Inverters (VSIs). In steady state conditions, the compensation technique evaluates the distortion voltage error on the basis of the error between reference and actual output currents, within a fundamental period. This voltage error is, hence, used to correct the reference voltage space vector at the following fundamental periods.
