The purpose of this study makes available the management of analysis data obtained from micro-climatic simulations of the open space, from ENVI-met 3.1 beta 5 software, into GIS systems in order to visualize and obtain the geo-referenced mapping of environmental conditions and the characteristics of outdoor comfort perception. For this purpose the extracted data from microclimatic simulation, DAT format, were converted to ASC and CSV format by a toolset programmed in Grasshopper platform (McNeel Rhinoceros plug-in). This toolset allows the conversion of the file format and to automate the geocoding process through an algorithmic approach applied to the case study. At the end of the conversion process all the microclimatic information about the open space and outdoor comfort were transferred within the GIS platform. The exchanging data process is subordinated to a logic of digitization of processes of representation and description of the territory, from “data-production stage” up to the visualization and communication of local specificities through the virtual model. The achievement of project objectives, as well born from continuous experimentation and simulation of technological solutions, proposed to address the unique characteristics of the context analysed.

Abstract
The achievement of project objectives, as well born from continuous experimentation and simulation of technological solutions, proposed to address the unique characteristics of the context analysed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
