The emergence of troubles in creating generative social ties seems to characterize modern communities, with an impact on the development of responsible and conscious styles of togetherness within them. The educational settings can represent spaces wherein it is possible to promote positive social relationships and develop more responsible styles of togetherness. The present contribution deepens the responsible togetherness within local contexts to understand its relationships with the Social Participation and the Sense of Community within an educational setting. An online questionnaire including the Responsible Togetherness Scale (α = .88), the Social Participation Scale (α = .89) and the Sense of Community Scale (α = .79; Prezza et al., 1999) was administered to 130 university students, aged between 18 and 35 (M = 22,63; DS = 2,296), attending the Mlyny Campus in Bratislava. From the results the Responsible Togetherness emerged as a significant predictor for the Social Participation (B = .333, t = 2.541, p < 0.05, 95% CI [.074, .591]), but it was no longer significant after controlling for the Sense of Community as a mediator, B = .057, ns, supporting the hypothesis of a full mediation. The unstandardized indirect effect of Responsible Togetherness on Social Participation mediated by Sense of Community was .275, p < .05, 95% CI [.027, .571]. The results were tested using a bootstrap estimation approach with 10000 samples.

Abstract
The results were tested using a bootstrap estimation approach with 10000 samples.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
