Scienza-Società. Analisi sociologica di una relazione complessa

The relationship between science and society is one of the main topic of the contemporary debate, not only scientific. However, this relationship must be understood in sociological terms if we want to offer a contribution to the discussion that is not ideological or of the common sense. To this end, in this essay I analyze the relationship between science and society, hoping for a counterintuitive theoretical perspective. To do this, I initially focus on what I have called “conspiracy rationality” and on the postmodern nature of this phenomenon. Later on, I focus on the issue of no-vax and pseudoscience. In the conclusions, i underline how much, in the science-society relationship, at stake there is a great change in the imagery of human and non-human nature.
