Reconstructing “con arte” e “con l’arte” is to measure space, read relational systems, provoke dormant qualities, hierarchically organize heterogeneous elements without fear of attributing new and different weights to the surviving fragments. The contribution, in line with the interpretation of the reconstruction theme that includes the redevelopment of the contexts, as well as the new construction or rehabilitation, aims to stimulate a reflection on the possibilities of reinterpretation of fragile territories as they lack an identity recognized by the inhabitants. The case study of the reconstruction of Gibellina following the 1968 earthquake, which involved a territory placed in geographical continuity with Alcamo Marina through the river impluent, shows different ways of acting of Art as an instrument of investigation, provocation, selection and organization of identity fragments. The same methods of working with space, through Art, are explored in the Neapolitan case study to verify the possibility of abstracting a working method that constitutes a useful approach to the planning of the reconstruction of fragile territories

Abstract
The same methods of working with space, through Art, are explored in the Neapolitan case study to verify the possibility of abstracting a working method that constitutes a useful approach to the planning of the reconstruction of fragile territoriesI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
