Optimal guaranteed cost control is a possible way to design LQ-optimal controllers for uncertain systems. In this paper we illustrate a technique to design guaranteed cost controllers for a class of uncertain linear systems. For a particular subclass of the guaranteed cost controllers we derive a frequency domain characterization of the related loop transfer matrices.
