Given the current pressures on the soil, an essential resource for survival and, however, heavily degraded by intense exploitation, analyzing its quality becomes essential, in particular erosion events, that is, loss of this resource, as one must seek to reduce them. There are already studies on erosion at continental level, especially by Panagos (2015) with results published in the European Commission. However, it is not known how different the results are when the study is carried out on a continental scale to when on a regional scale. Therefore, this work sought to analyze the scale at the regional level and compare it with the result obtained by Panagos (2015). It was observed that the variables that showed the greatest difference in the erosion data were the K factor and the LS factor, evidencing the importance of regional-scale data, that is, data with higher resolution, for a more accurate estimation of soil erosion.

Abstract
Given the current pressures on the soil, an essential resource for survival and, however, heavily degraded by intense exploitation, analyzing its quality becomes essential, in particular erosion events, that is, loss of this resource, as one must seek to reduce them. There are already studies on erosion at continental level, especially by Panagos (2015) with results published in the European Commission. However, it is not known how different the results are when the study is carried out on a continental scale to when on a regional scale. Therefore, this work sought to analyze the scale at the regional level and compare it with the result obtained by Panagos (2015). It was observed that the variables that showed the greatest difference in the erosion data were the K factor and the LS factor, evidencing the importance of regional-scale data, that is, data with higher resolution, for a more accurate estimation of soil erosion.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
