Recently, E-Distribuzione, in coordination with Enel Grids, started the installation of Line Lightning Protection Devices (LLPD) on a MV feeder located in northern east Italy. The devices were provided by STREAMER Electric, a company specialized in lightning equipment on MV feeders. Enel Grids and University of Naples “Federico II” implemented and developed a model of this feeder to evaluate the effects of lightning events. This paper provides a description of the network and of the implemented model which will be used in the future for the analysis of the lightning overvoltage produced by both direct and indirect lightning. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2023.

Abstract
Recently, E-Distribuzione, in coordination with Enel Grids, started the installation of Line Lightning Protection Devices (LLPD) on a MV feeder located in northern east Italy. The devices were provided by STREAMER Electric, a company specialized in lightning equipment on MV feeders. Enel Grids and University of Naples “Federico II” implemented and developed a model of this feeder to evaluate the effects of lightning events. This paper provides a description of the network and of the implemented model which will be used in the future for the analysis of the lightning overvoltage produced by both direct and indirect lightning. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2023.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
