This chapter interprets the concept of synergy through the observation of emerging mobility practices with particular reference to the idea of reversibility. As matter of fact, everyday mobility practices, allowing the interwinwiments and collaborations of different life domains such as personal relation, working and leisure activities, boost the development of symoultaneous but geographically distant lives. In particular, it is possible to observe in recent years the appearence of forms of mobility that « witness a reversible use of territory and network » (Vincent-Geslin and Ortar, 2012; 40). In this chapter I will examine both the concepts of reversible mobilities and reversible territories. Reversible mobilities allow for a reversible use of territory and define an unbounded space that changes continously according to different uses and intensities, configuring a diffused life space and enhancing urban sinergies. Definitely reversibility can be understood as a theoretical concept as well as a concrete instrument to design a more adaptable city.
