Starting from the postmodern critique of narrative theories, the end of the great metanarratives, and the alleged failure of narratives in the social sciences to create fixed rules and schemes, this paper attempts to reread corporate narratives using tarot cards to see if it is possible to create versatile rules and schemes for new narratives with symbolic effectiveness. The added value of this explorative work lies in proposing a step forward in creating an emotional and irrational contact with both internal and external audiences, a bridge between unconscious and conscious elements of which tarots could represent the linkage.

Abstract
Starting from the postmodern critique of narrative theories, the end of the great metanarratives, and the alleged failure of narratives in the social sciences to create fixed rules and schemes, this paper attempts to reread corporate narratives using tarot cards to see if it is possible to create versatile rules and schemes for new narratives with symbolic effectiveness. The added value of this explorative work lies in proposing a step forward in creating an emotional and irrational contact with both internal and external audiences, a bridge between unconscious and conscious elements of which tarots could represent the linkage.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
