In this paper we evaluate an 8-channel electric dipole array placed around a high permittivity material helmet former in simulation. Transmit efficiency and coil coupling are evaluated, with the intent to build an 8-channel transmit array around a tight fitting dense receive array and a dielectric helmet for head imaging at 7 Tesla.
