The contribution intends to analyse the fundamental role of measurement in the construction and reading of architectural space, emphasising how it constitutes not only a numerical value, but also a key to understanding the relationships between the whole and the parts, and thus a theoretical/operational device for representing reality. Through a multisensor and multiscale survey and the subsequent graphic analysis of the case study identified in the church of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli in Naples, the working group aimed to understand the measure that regulates the articulation of the composition of the whole, determining harmonic and specific relations between the parts.

Abstract
The contribution intends to analyse the fundamental role of measurement in the construction and reading of architectural space, emphasising how it constitutes not only a numerical value, but also a key to understanding the relationships between the whole and the parts, and thus a theoretical/operational device for representing reality. Through a multisensor and multiscale survey and the subsequent graphic analysis of the case study identified in the church of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli in Naples, the working group aimed to understand the measure that regulates the articulation of the composition of the whole, determining harmonic and specific relations between the parts.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
