Abstract
The case study of the former psychiatric hospital “Leonardo Bianchi” in Naples suggests an unprecedented ecological aesthetic. New perspectives are recognized for the design and re-integration of these heterotopic spaces into urban dynamics. Asylum complexes are looked at in unseen relationships with the city; at the same time meanings and values are identified in a vision that interprets former asylums as possible ‘refugia’, drivers of a renewed ecological aesthetic for the city of the future.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
