If dropping out from school is the final outcome of a long process of disengagement and disinterest from schooling, the use of theatre in education can help to strengthen the bond between students and their schools. In particular, the purpose of this study was to investigate whether and how a theatre workshop conducted by the Association ‘Maestri di Strada’ can foster a hybridisation between the world of extracurricular activities and the school one, by giving voice to a group of adolescents who attended the workshop for several years and who had reached the end of their path.

Abstract
