This article aims to illustrate some fundamental aspects of the Borgesian reading of Gilles Deleuze. Through the concepts of bifurcation and simultaneity, we will try to show in which manner the French philosopher uses Borges to show how the selection of best of all possible worlds in the Leibnizian Theodicy, develops in the Argentinian writer through a vertiginous image of coexistence of all possibilities. The Universe of Borges, unlike that of Leibniz, is according to Deleuze, crossed by plots that develop bifurcated paths, that is, through non-linear series, points of rupture that open to the synchronic coexistence of contradictions. A sort of absurdity in which the linear and its paradox are co-present and not excluded.

Abstract
A sort of absurdity in which the linear and its paradox are co-present and not excluded.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
