Eine Zweisamkeit. Spinozian Intersections in Nietzsche’s Work

Starting from an analysis of the Preface to the second edition of The Gay Science, this article aims to offer a new perspective on the relationship between the thoughts of Nietzsche and Spinoza. In particular, by examining the resonance of some terms used by Nietzsche, which attest to a close link between the two philoso- phers on the theme of knowledge as affect, the article will attempt to clarify how the prism of passions, which Nietzsche refers to and which recalls Spinoza directly, is at the basis of his redefinition of philosophy. The expression of this rebirth proceeds through the centrality of the body, not in the sense of a new subjective foundation, but of an abyssal darkness perpetually soaring to power.
