The contribution examines the relationship between the acquisition and management of data used in the creation of digital models for the documentation, preservation, and management of cultural heritage. Strategies for expanding and enhancing the accessibility and visualisation of digital cultural heritage are analysed, leveraging digital humanities to make these resources more accessible to a broad and diverse audience. In this context, particular attention is given to the strategic role of artificial intelligence in the well-established methodology of documenting digital cultural heritage.
