L’altra Tangentopoli. L’attore camorrista nello scambio affaristico tra politica e imprenditoria in Campania

The contribution presents an analysis of 1992 in Campania from the criminal point of view, with a reconstruction of the judicial inquiries which struck down the local political class in the same period of the Mani Pulite scandal in Milan emerged. Two investigations of the magistracy are examined which can emblematically represent the case of Campania. The first one starts from the collaboration with the justice system of two important Camorra members; the second one concerns important politicians united in business committee for the management of public contracts in Naples. Campania offers a peculiar analytical dimension to the typically corruptive mechanisms revealed by the judicial investigations of 1992: the consolidated Mafia presence in public administrations and the moral compromise of the ruling classes. Aspects capable of integrating and enriching the national narrative of the period with contextual elements.
