Abitare il senso: sulla soglia del nichilismo. Un percorso fenomenologico tra Martin Heidegger, Reiner Schürmann e oltre

First, the essay elucidates the inherent ambivalence of the concept of “dwelling” by examining the polysemy of “sense” through a phenomenological approach. Furthermore, drawing on the work of Reiner Schürmann and his interpretation of Heidegger’s thought, dwelling is examined in its historical, practical, collective, and normative nature. Based on his epochal conception of history, according to which the contemporary era marks the culmination of nihilism, Schürmann’s notion of “anarchy” and the dwelling he proposes are critically problematized. Finally, the essay inquires whether the nihilism that characterizes sense is not a line to be crossed or overcome, but rather the very threshold of dwelling and its intrinsic ambivalence.
