Tourism benefits from community involvement in decision-making, ensuring planning aligns with local needs. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) play a key role, yet communities often lack knowledge of their use, limiting local governance. This study identifies digital tools fostering social innovation in tourism through a systematic literature review (SLR). Analysing 21 articles, it characterises nine types of technologies for management, immersion, or promotion. It also examines the roles of governments, society, the market, and NGOs. The findings contribute to discussions on ICTs for social innovation and suggest directions for future research.

Abstract
Tourism benefits from community involvement in decision-making, ensuring planning aligns with local needs. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) play a key role, yet communities often lack knowledge of their use, limiting local governance. This study identifies digital tools fostering social innovation in tourism through a systematic literature review (SLR). Analysing 21 articles, it characterises nine types of technologies for management, immersion, or promotion. It also examines the roles of governments, society, the market, and NGOs. The findings contribute to discussions on ICTs for social innovation and suggest directions for future research.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
