Modern legal aspects of telemedicine

Telemedicine is the distance disbursement of medical service by using the modern communication technologies for data transfer. Nevertheless, "telemedicine " not only means technological innovation applied to the supply of sanitary service, but also improvement of the medical care and of the quality of life of the patients. In effect some kind of services, like the domiciliary monitoring, not only increase the safety and the self-confidence of the patients, but also allow incredible time saving (especially in emergency situations), with economic costs that are tolerable for both the single consumer and for the community. Today telemedicine is a current topic in the legal and scientific context. It poses several problems, but in that regard scientific and legal literature are still uncertain. Aim of the present work is to give an aid to simplify this argument as much as possible.
