The new N‐feruloyltyrosine and the strictly related N‐feruloyl‐tyramine, already found as principal components of the polyaromatic domain of suberised tissues, were isolated from the roots of Allium sativum L. and Allium porrum L., and their structures determined by spectral data. The isolated compounds showed antifungal activity towards Fusarium culmorum.

Abstract
The new N‐feruloyltyrosine and the strictly related N‐feruloyl‐tyramine, already found as principal components of the polyaromatic domain of suberised tissues, were isolated from the roots of Allium sativum L. and Allium porrum L., and their structures determined by spectral data. The isolated compounds showed antifungal activity towards Fusarium culmorum.File in questo prodotto:
